Click the
Test Account Settings button to test the connection. Outlook should now be able to connect.
Click Test Account Settings
If successful, click the
Close button and continue.
Click Close
If you are experiencing trouble with the connection, check your E-mail settings once again with the previous steps in this article. If the information is correct, try logging into the 1&1 webmail at
https://email.1and1.com/ to make sure that the e-mail account is active and your are using the correct password. If you are unable to login to the 1&1 webmail, log in to the 1&1 Control Panel to make sure the e-mail account exists and update the e-mail account's password if necessary.
